Hello there!
If you have been following along with us, you know we are all about raising curiosity and celebrating the magical world of early childhood. We are four wooden puppets and a human being : ) and together, we are on a mission to share the joy, growth, and wonder of those early years.
Here, we are giving you a peek behind the curtains and show you how we bring all of this to life.

The Wooden Fellows: Bringing Early Childhood to Life
The puppets may be made of wood, but they are brimming with character. Maurice, Petite Clothilde, Mme Rigolotte, and Pierre-Qui-Roule were inspired by Rosie’s imaginary world, and created to help everyone connect with the magic of early years.

Even though we like to pretend that those Wooden Fellows join us on their own, they, technically, came to life in our workshop, in the basement of our home here in North Carolina. It is our happy place, a cozy, creative space filled with wood and woodworking tools. Each puppet comes with its own personality and charm, and somehow, held each a facet of their human friend’s personality. They often travel from places to place, like Chicago, IL and Paris, FR to inspire us through pictures of their adventures. Yes, we do get curious stares along the way : )
The Blog: Elevating Everyone’s Curiosity towards Young Children
Writing this blog is one of our favorite activities — every week, we write a post to dive into the heart of early childhood.
Sometimes we write in our kitchen, sometimes in our attic, the library, or coffee shops. We use Procreate and Canvas to help bring our ideas to life, whether it is designing an illustration for a blog post or creating new resources. Every creative decision is made with a little bit of puppetry magic. We sometimes use AI as a tool to make sure everything sounds as polished as possible, but all our content is deeply personal and thoughtfully crafted. We are fully involved in the creation, and we hope you can feel the love and intention behind each post.
Other platforms: Reaching Out to as People as We Can
In addition to the blog, we love sharing our creative process and the magic of early childhood through other platforms. Whether you are a regular follower or a first-timer, here’s where you can find us:

Instagram: We echo our blog content on Instagram, sharing photos of us (the puppets, of course) in action. Sometimes, the pictures do not always go as planned, and we share those behind-the-scenes moments as well. It is a great place to connect, share ideas, and find inspiration in the little things. Follow along to join the fun!
Etsy Shop: Everything in our Etsy shop is created right here in North Carolina, from the Pouilles to the bookmarks and pens. We have crafted these items to help share the spirit of early childhood with you in a fun, tangible way. We will soon be offering kits designed for grown-ups to engage with young children. These kits will spark creativity and curiosity, giving you an easy way to connect with young ones and explore the magic of early childhood together.

Other Social Media: we have just started posting videos on YouTube, but we’re planning to create even more! We will share soon, for instance, videos where we draw the beginning of a story, as an entry point to engage young children in storytelling and spark their imagination. We also share and echo our blog posts on Facebook and Pinterest. These are other ways to stay connected with us and join in the conversation about the importance of early childhood.
Your Support and Feedback
We would not be here without you, our amazing readers, followers, and supporters. Your kind messages, feedback, and stories about your own experiences with young children keep us going week after week. We are constantly learning and growing, and we are grateful that you are along for the ride.
So, thank you for being a part of this adventure. We hope you continue to find inspiration, joy, and curiosity through our posts, puppets, and all the content we share. We are excited to keep exploring the wonderful world of early childhood with you — whether you are hanging out with us here, or elsewhere!
Until next time,
The Puppets (and our human friend too!)
